2025 Berkeley mini Math Tournament

The Berkeley Mini Math Tournament (BMMT) 2025 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 7th, 2025, virtually.

BmMT is open to middle school students in grades 8 or below. In particular, there is no lower age limit to compete in BmMT; advanced elementary students are welcome to compete. Each team can have up to 5 students.

The tournament will consist of four main rounds: Puzzle, Individual, Team, and Relay. The Puzzle Round will last for 75 minutes, the Individual Round for 60 minutes, and the Team Round also for 60 minutes. The duration of the Relay Round has not been specified yet. Adding in the time for organization, breaks, and the Tiebreaker Round (for top-scoring students in the individual round), the event is expected to begin at 8 AM and conclude around 6:30 PM.

The event registration fee includes: tournament registration, T-shirt, and math coach's per diem.

In addition, we will host 10 1-hour sessions to prepare for this contest. It'll be on Sunday 7-8 pm PDT. Tuition fees may apply.
